The Pines of Rome

pines of rome site -2The Pines of Rome site size -Edit
Rome (Ostia Antica) The umbrella form of Roman pines are immediately recognizable. Those trees have overlooked the changing vistas and the history that has played out here over the centuries. The city uses a pine cone as one of its symbols. While they were the inspiration for Respighi’s tone poem, we just liked the sound of the wind moving through the needles. Sterling silver, emeralds.
